Intervention Specialist
Our Intervention Specialist graduated from the combined M.D./M.B.A. program at the Keck School of Medicine and the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. He is currently in a psychiatry residency program in Los Angeles. He is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and of the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry (AAAP) and has been actively involved in the recovery community since 2001. He has conducted research on the effect of opiates on voice quality and on the role of protein kinase C in cancer prevention and neuron regeneration. His primary interest is in the treatment of "Dual Diagnosis" patients - individual's suffering from both addiction and another psychiatric illness. In addition to medicine, Intervention Specialist is heavily involved in music production and has been performing and recording in Los Angeles since 1991.
