Answer:
Yes, stimulants, including meth and cocaine, can bring on manic episodes, and should be avoided. Marijuana can also cause psychotic symptoms with bipolar individuals. Many other drugs can precipitate mood episodes, so it is best for bipolar individuals to avoid any drug use.
