Answer:
Regular use of an addictive drug often becomes difficult to stop after 2 weeks (although often less time is needed for very addictive drugs, such as heroin and crack cocaine). At 2 weeks, many drugs start to show tolerance, including benzodiazepines and sleeping pills. Use for one year is considered chronic drug use.
