Answer to your Question
Question: I am currently taking methadone for my previous heroin addiction. Someone mentioned to me I should be taking suboxone. I read a little about suboxone, but can you explain why suboxone is more beneficial (if it is) the methadone?

Addiction SpecialistAnswer: The primary benefit to Suboxone is that, unlike methadone, it can be prescribed by a doctor in an office based setting and filled at any pharmacy. For more information on Suboxone and how it differs from methadone, you can visit Intervention Treatment's Suboxone page at http://www.interventiontreatment.com/services/suboxone
