Addiction SpecialistAnswer: Many people have found the following helpful in staying sober after treatment: getting involved in a twelve step program, enrolling in an extended outpatient program, seeing a therapist on a regular basis, developing friendships with other recovering individuals, and avoiding exposure to situations that are closely associated with previous substance use.
