Question: My son in law has left my pregnant daughter for the second time, stole from his job and is now in jail. He says he will go to rehab if he gets out but I have doubts is there counseling for her to help her cope with being a pregnant mom with a 3 yr old so the babies wont think this is normal?

Depending on where you live, there may be greater or fewer options; however, some form of counseling is available in most areas. An internet search for counseling in your area should help. Also, your daughter may benefit from attending a meeting of Al-anon (http://www.al-anon.alateen.org/) where she will find other individuals dealing with similar situations. These meetings are self-run and follow a twelve-step model.
